Individual Psychotherapy
Effective individual psychotherapy, in San Francisco.
I work with individual patients on a wide range of concerns — from depression, anxiety, and trauma to relationship difficulties, creative blocks, and challenging life transitions.
NOE VALLEY · SAN FRANCISCO · IN-PERSON & TELEHEALTH
People come to individual therapy for many reasons — and often at a moment when something that once worked has stopped working.
Whether you're navigating a specific crisis, a long-standing pattern, or a quiet but persistent sense that things could be different, individual therapy provides a space to understand yourself more fully — and to make real, lasting change.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. Sessions are available in my Noe Valley office and via secure video throughout California.
02
Direct and collaborative
Good therapy requires courage and clarity. I will be straight with you about what I observe, what I think is useful, and what progress looks like. Together we decide what works and what doesn’t.
03
Short- and long-term
I work in both brief, solution-focused formats and longer-term therapy. The right approach depends on your goals, your circumstances, and what you're trying to change.
01
Individualized
I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, brief-therapy, and Eastern medicine frameworks — and apply what's genuinely useful for your particular situation, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

WHO I WORK WITH
A diverse range of adults.
I see adults from a wide range of backgrounds, life circumstances, and presenting concerns. My practice is welcoming to people of all ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and relationship structures. I also work with people navigating the particular challenges of living and working in San Francisco — including the pressures of the tech industry, creative professions, and the city's distinctive social fabric.
If you're unsure whether I'd be a good fit for your situation, reach out — I'm happy to discuss it, and will always try to make a thoughtful referral if I'm not the right person to help.
